ABOUT DANIEL M. GILBERT FOUNDATION
We're raising funds to honor Daniel Gilbert by creating a youth sports charity facility. This will help children who can't afford the costs of youth sports, providing them with opportunities to participate, grow, and thrive. Your support will make a lasting impact on young lives.
Daniel Gilbert, a 2007 graduate of Parkview Baptist School, was both a dreamer and fearless. He faced more adversity in his 28 years than most ever will, yet he used his story to help others and proclaim God’s faithfulness. Daniel inspired many and continues to touch lives today. He received the Isaiah 40:31 Award from Parkview Baptist, a posthumous honor given to alumni who exemplify Isaiah 40:31 throughout their lives.
When he received the award, his mom said, “Daniel truly was one of the good guys.” We know he is smiling down on us as we celebrate him on the football field where he spent the "best four years of his life.” By supporting this foundation, we aim to bring the joy of sports to other kids in his honor.
